Kitchen & Bath Design / Sales Assistant Job Description

Duties:

• Oversee the daily operations of the design center, including managing client selection appointments, job schedules, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Help to generate marketing, advertising and project showcases through social media platforms
• Maintain organizational systems for inventory, supplies, and administrative tasks
• Answer phone calls and emails with professional phone etiquette and excellent written communication skills
• Provide sales support, ordering assistance and project planning when needed
• Manage time effectively to balance administrative tasks with customer service needs.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Ideal candidate needs to have strong customer service skills, work independently, be well organized and able to follow instructions
• Exhibit a strong work ethic
• Available to learn a new industry and interested in creating a long-term relationship with the business and its clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite and social media platforms
• Previous experience as a designer / sales professional in the kitchen / bath industry a plus!

Design Surfaces is looking for a dynamic individual to handle the design and sales processes of a busy kitchen & bath business. Previous design experience is highly desired, but training is available for the right person. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service skill set, excellent client management and project management abilities, be motivated, well organized and able to work independently without constant direction.
